1. Rewşan’s New Album “Hinar” to be Released on October 18th!

Kurdish artist Rewşan has announced the release date of her new album “Hinar”. The album will be released on digital platforms on Friday, October 18th. “Hinar” consists of 9 songs, all lyrics written by Rewşan. The album was arranged by Hakan Gürbüz and many famous musicians contributed to the project. The album’s promotional concert will take place on November 15th at Istanbul Volkswagen Arena.

4. Kurdish Studies Center’s Researcher Training Program Begins

The Kurdish Studies Center (KSC) is organizing a training program for the second time for researcher candidates from inside and outside academia. The program will take place in Diyarbakır from November 28 to December 3, 2024.

5. Literature Event in Switzerland: Kawa Nemir’s Ulysses Translation

At the Looren Translators’ House in Switzerland, writers and translators watched the film “Translating Ulysses” about Kawa Nemir’s translation of Ulysses. Translator and academic Ergin Öpengin (Sertem) also gave a speech at the event.

7. 18 People Killed in Israeli Attack on Aitou

At least 18 people were killed and 4 injured in an Israeli attack on the Christian town of Aitou in northern Lebanon. This was recorded as Israel’s first attack on this region.

8. Hezbollah and Israel Conflict: 4 Dead, 58 Injured

As a result of Hezbollah’s attack with Unmanned Aerial Vehicles on a military point south of Haifa, 4 Israeli soldiers were killed and 58 soldiers were injured. Israel announced that it bombed 200 Hezbollah targets in the last 24 hours.

10. Israeli Tanks Enter UN Centers in Lebanon

The UN Peacekeeping Force (UNIFIL) reported that two Israeli tanks broke down the gate of their base in southern Lebanon and forcibly entered. The incident took place on Sunday in the village of Ramyah.

11. US Sends 100 Soldiers and Air Defense System to Israel

The Pentagon announced that it has sent the THAAD missile defense system and about 100 soldiers to Israel. This decision was made following Iran’s attack on November 1, 2024.

12. 6 People Detained at DEM Party and DBP Event in Diyarbakır

The Diyarbakır Governorship announced that 6 people who participated in the press statement organized by the DEM Party and DBP were detained. The governorship also filed a criminal complaint against the deputies for ignoring the ban decision.

13. Sweden Wants Iran’s Revolutionary Guards to be Added to Terror List
